Saturday Night
(You’ll Never Get This Time Again)

Frosted Flowers released their second single ‘Saturday Night (You’ll Never Get This Time Again)’ on 31st May 2019.

This is the first foray into dance music by Frosted Flowers. Written and composed by Gregor Norman Wilson, produced at Panther Studios, England by Richard Coppen, aka Dick Crippen and Mastered at Bring It On Studios, New Zealand by Howard Rogers. With lyrics that are both thought provoking and provocative at the same time, the song takes you on a trip that instantly gratifies, leaving you begging for more. The edgy production and arrangements also add an unmistakable Antipodean groove to the song, with a nod to early New Order circa 1983, that dares you to turn up the volume to maximum.

The Video uses clips from Dancing on the Moon, now in the public domain, a 1935 animated short film directed by Dave Fleischer and part of the Color Classics series of animated short films produced by Fleischer Studios.

Dreams of Christmas Past

First single released digitally by Orange Jelly Records on 16th November 2018.

Dreams of Christmas Past is a nostalgic but modern pop song, evoking memories of Christmases gone by with family and friends.

Written and recorded earlier in 2018, while Gregor’s Dad was suffering and sadly died from dementia at the grand old age of 92.

Not meant to be a sad song, it brings back to life all those memories from years ago, while looking to the future in a positive way.

The video uses Public Domain clips from A Christmas Carol, a 1910 silent short film directed by J. Searle Dawley for Edison.

Starring Marcus McDermott (24 July 1881 – 5 January 1929) an Australian actor who starred on Broadway and in over 180 American films from 1909 until his death at the age of 47.

Dreams of Christmas Past will make you smile, make you cry and make you smile again!
